There's some good work bein done out there!

Canadians want the Suzuki Foundation's Tax exempt status revoked.

Dear Senator Eaton, Members of the Senate, and Members of Parliament,
Last year, during the Ontario provincial elections, David Suzuki made a commercial in support of the incumbent, Dalton McGuinty which violates the law, as it applies to charitable foundations. http://www.thestar.com/news/ca ...

His foundation is a foreign funded blot on the Canadian landscape.
 Sincerely, Mitchel44

Thank you for investigating the damage Foreign funding is doing to Canada's economy and it's citizens.

Dear Senator Eaton, Members of the Senate, and Members of Parliament,Yank Suzuki's charitable status, and investigate him for tax fraud. He supported politicians, used NFB tax money to lie to children, takes money from foreign entities to lobby our sovereign government, and lastly, held Santa hostage in front of the kiddies. My taxes are better spent elsewhere. Michael Bishop

Dear Senator Eaton, Members of the Senate, and Members of Parliament,

As a Canadian who cares deeply about the future of our country, I am extremely disappointed by the recent attempts of some environmental groups to use foreign funding to influence the debate in this country.
Please have the Suzuki Foundation explain it's foreign sources of funding and how they are using foreign funds to fight Canadian business interests. Sanwin

Dear Senator Eaton, Members of the Senate, and Members of Parliament,

As a Canadian who cares deeply about the future of our country, I encourage you to continue in your pursuit of "Responsible Government" by forcing these "charities" to open their books, I would also recommend any "charities" found taking foreign funds, be divested as the "fifth columnists" that they are.
It would also recommend privatizing their propaganda wing, known as the CBC, if both actions were taken and the savings to the Canadian taxpayer would be far more than 1.1 billion dollars.

With a debt of 581 billion we can't afford not to show these vagrants the door.

Sincerely, DA

My letter sent to:Senator Eaton

Thank you for standing up to this Celebrity. I deem it more important to our Nation that this Inquiry goes a head. If foreign interests are interfering in Canadian policy .

Our Voted in officials need to know. Including those entrusted with oversight. Our Government has enough tough choices to make as you know all to well. By money or influence it does not help if some conflict with National policy. Its vital that Canadian interests stay in Parliament with its Organs. Not the hands of Alien Courts or Parliaments. If not individual connivance by Institutions run by & for special interests.

We have economic enemies as well as well meaning competitors. Best we know the score so official like yourself can make informed decisions that effect all Canadian economically. Again thank you for looking after the "Canadian bacon" against entrenched celerity with other aligned pressure groups.

Thank You, Revnant Dream

Dear Senator Eaton, Members of the Senate, and Members of Parliament.

Research into this topic has become politicized. It should not be classified as charitable work. It is important, but not charitable.

Sincerely, AB

I have grave concerns about the integrity of organizations like the David Suzuki Foundation. I believe that the issue of international funding for such organizations is an important consideration for protecting the interests of Canada and
Canadians.

A democracy functions best when all points of view are considered rationally and carefully, and when our leaders, both elected and appointed, examine the facts before speaking, and when foreign agendas are identified as such.

Sincerely JM

pocket? Something smells with these boyo`s.

Dear Senator Eaton, Members of the Senate, and Members of Parliament,

As a Canadian who cares deeply about the future of our country, I am extremely disappointed by the continued efforts of wealthy American foundations to affect Canadian policy through lobby groups such as the Suzuki Foundation, which masquerade as protectors of the environment. No organization receiving significant foreign funding should be allowed a voice on Canadian policy.
I am embarrassed by Canada’s environmental organizations, which have a long history of fund-raising, self-promotion , and crying wolf about the natural environment on which we all depend for future prosperity.

The Senate is supposed to be a house of sober second thought. As such, we expect more from our senators than to heed alarmist environmental rhetoric that does nothing to further debate about matters of vital national importance. Like many Canadians, I believe that the issue of international funding disqualifies these organizations from being considered Canadian. A democracy functions best when all points of view are considered rationally and carefully, and when our leaders, both elected and appointed, examine the facts before speaking.

As a Canadian who looks to the House of Commons and the Senate for leadership, I ask you to get back to the business of thoughtful debate and to ignore the chatter of foreign-funded lobbyists.

Sincerely NE

Dear Senator Eaton, Members of the Senate, and Members of Parliament,

As a Canadian who cares deeply about the future of our country, I am extremely disappointed by the apparent foreign funding of David Suzuki. An investigation of these groups indicates that they are interested in diverting corporate profits away from Canada and to their own non-Canadian investments. Like many Canadians, I believe that the issue of of international funding is a an interference with our internal affairs and must not be tolerated--especially when the environmental concepts Mr. Suzuki promulgates are on such shaky scientific grounds.

I would prefer seeing an impartial Senate investigation into the funding of Mr. Suzuki's various activities. Clearly, the man does not have the best interests of Canada at heart. JS

I applaud the Senate's exploration of the role that foreign funding may be playing in the Canadian environmental movement and the oil sands debate.

This is an important matter that deserves attention.

Yours truly,

Donna Laframboise
